Slàinte Mhath Salver
The 2025 edition of the Slàinte Mhath Salver took place at Oundle GC on Friday 12th September.
Following the standard fare of Coffee and Bacon rolls the 7 teams from each side ventured on to the course with the weather windy but set fair.
SCAGC were led out by Chas & Hugh (Captain & Interim Secretary), doing battle with Rod & David (President & Interim Secretary)
The day was enjoyed by all and when all had been fed and watered suitably post match it was time for the result.
Local knowledge seemed to play quite a part in the match with some reasonably close matches but unfortunately for SCAGC the hosts managed to win the match 5-2, retaining the trophy.
