The annual ‘Battle of the Blues’ took place this year at Brampton Park G.C. on a lovely sunny day. On an unusually warm day (thermals not required) at St. Ives G.C. this years contest for the Millennium Trophy was held. Instead of the customary Bacon Roll a full buffet breakfast was served before battle commenced in sunny and slightly breezy conditions. Congratulations to Girton G.C. who won this year’s Interclub ably led and guided to victory by SCAGC Captain John Fuller. He was supported by his team mates Brian Pettengell, Steve Andrews and Trevor Dean. The weather behaved for this year’s event which was held at Ely City G.C.
