An excellent entry of 56 players competed for the Tankards Trophies at Saffron Walden GC. The away venue for this year’s Hampshire, IOW & CI fixture was Alresford GC near Winchester. A relatively new golf course built in the early 70’s, but proved to be a good test of golf for both teams. As usual the sun was out all day, the only problem, it did not shine on SCAGC. Continue Reading
