After 3 consecutive years of victories, we were sadly defeated at Ely City GC by a very on form Suffolk side. The course was in excellent condition and the many improvements made over the winter months have made the course one of the best to play in Cambridgeshire.
The catering staff made us very welcome with an excellent light lunch and dinner. Ely City’s Vice Captain, Dave (Tiger) Woods greeted both Societies on behalf of the Captain who was away on holiday and we thank him for his praise of our Societies.
