The resumption of matches between Cambridgeshire and Sussex commenced at The Cambridgeshire on Tuesday 20th July 2021.
Unfortunately the SCAGC performance wasn’t as electric as the atmosphere and Sussex managed to win the match 6 – 2 despite being a man short due to being ‘pinged’ on his journey to the match.
Only Mike Robinson and Dave Francis managed a complete match win for the home side on a day that threatened rain which was largely avoided.
Nearest the Pin awards were made to Hugh Carlisle and gentleman from Sussex of whose name I am unaware. Apologies for John Fuller ‘photobombing’ the second photo.
Subsequently another award of golf balls was made to Terry Cripps for getting a 2 which was missed on the day.
