The Cam Trophy was hosted this year by Northamptonshire at Rushden GC on Friday 23rd July.
Fortunately for most people the temperature of the last few days had dropped considerably but it was still dry.
After a light lunch of Ham & Cheese salad sandwich and chips the 3 Captains led us off just before 1 0/clock for the tri cornered match of 16 players with the best 14 scores to count.
SCAGC declared Winners!
Alot of players seemed to enjoy the cooler conditions with some very good scores being posted.
After a rolling dinner of Steak Pie followed by Cheesecake the scores were collated by Northamptonshire and the final score being declared as Cambridgeshire 459, Bedfordshire 438 and Northamptonshire 434.
Malcolm collected the Cam Trophy on behalf of SCAGC whist the Wooden Spoon was collected by Peter from Nothamptonshire. Malcolm was quite surprised to win this as the scores seemed closer.
