Brampton Park GC was the venue for our annual match against Shropshire/Herefordshire & Nottinghamshire Captains.
We had fantastic weather on the day, which added to the enjoyment of playing the course.
Brampton Park is a course you either love or hate and I can confirm every player in the SCAGC team loves Brampton Park as we gave our opponents a sound thrashing.
You could see the colour drain from their faces as they stood on the tee at the notorious 4th hole, I for one acted quite nonchalantly as I took my shot, with knees trembling.
The course was in fine condition especially the greens, which were very consistent in speed; the catering was as usual excellent
