The resumption of the SHENOCA Trophy took place at Shifnal Golf Club in Shropshire on 26th august 2021.
A lovely full breakfast fuelled the players before play and we were led off by the leaders of each team. It was a nice warm sunny day which was welcome after some previously overcast conditions.
The course was in lovely condition and I’m sure everybody enjoyed the day even though some of the scores that were returned were less than was to be hoped for.
Nottinghamshire Winners
A healthy dinner of Salmon fillet and vegetables was followed by a choice of numerous sweets from the sweet trolley which seems to be a Shifnal GC tradition.
The final scores of the 10 best scores from the 12 players were Nottinghamshire 331; Cambridgeshire 302; Shropshire & Herefordshire 301.
