This year’s Nicholls Salver was contested at Brampton Park on a bright blustery day, the weather improving as the day wore on.
A total of 23 players battled the wind on the well prepared course with some good scores and some not so good scores being returned.
The eventual winner was Peter Taylor from Saffron Walden with an outstanding score of 40 points, seen here receiving the Nicholls Salver from SCAGC Captain Terry Akers.
For those that are interested the CSS of the day was 37 points.
