The home fixture was played at Ely City GC and the Society recorded it’s first victory of the year for Captain Tony…..well played team!!!
The course was in great condition and the catering absolutely superb.
We were entertained by Captain Dr David Woods (Tiger to his mate’s) of Ely City GC regarding the various usages of a surgical rubber glove! As expected no one present at the dinner offered their services as a stand in patient as Dr David had forgotten to bring the Vasaline!
Many thanks to the staff at Ely City GC especially the bar staff who kept the bar open to 11.45 as the Hampshire boy’s got stuck into the scotches.
