SCAGC hosted the annual triangular match between Hertfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire Captains for the Herve Trophy.
The match played at Saffron Walden GC was as usual, very competitive with Cambridgeshire leading with only 3 matches to be completed.
The final 3 players from Essex, Robert Morris (9) Richard Seabright (8) and Graham Bowers (8) recorded between them 103 points, this gave the Essex Team a total of 472 points with Cambridgeshire second with 460 points and Hertfordshire with 451 points.
Special mention should be made to Craig Russell (scratch) Girton GC who
won his match against the two County Professionals with 33 points.
