The 2025 edition of the Crocus Trophy was played at Bawburg GC slightly northwest of Norwich.
The course was interesting, being a great deal more hilly than expected. The course was very dry and brown but the tees and greens were in very good condition.
The weather was again another lovely day.
After the normal breakfast of Coffee & Bacon roll the teams were led out by the Captains to do battle for the Crocus Trophy.
There were nearest the pins for each team on 2 holes and the SCAGC winners of these were Chris Craven and Chas Vincent.
After the return to the clubhouse for a lovely Carvery and choice of desserts the overall result was that the Trophy was retained by Cambridgeshire 6 1/2 to 3 1/2.
Thanks must go to the Club and staff who looked after us superbly on the day. A great day was had by all.
