In a change from the normal format this year’s Millennium Trophy, contested on the Wandlebury Course at Gog Magog GC, consisted on having a breakfast before play with the presentation following the golf in the bar. I personally prefer this format but if you have any views please pass them on directly to the Captain or Secretary or via your Club Liaison Officer.
A nice dry late Spring day ensured that there were some reasonable scores for the field of 29 players.
The normal Nearest the Pin’s were contested for the Captains’ Charity and the winners were Steve Campbell and Alan Wood.
Whilst having well deserved drinks in the bar after play the results were given with the winner being Graham Handscombe with 38 points on countback from local member John Williams also with 38 points. 3rd place went to Trevor Clifton. 2023 MILLENNIUM RESULTS
