The Claret Jug was played for this year at Menzies GC.
The course was in superb condition with the greens being a “tad” slow for some of the players, I personally thought they were all very consistent in texture and great to put on ( John Cardwell and I did win our match comfortably).
Sadly, we could only manage a half with Kent Captains and therefore they retained the Claret Jug for the fourth year running.
Well done team, next year we need to win that Claret Jug back.
