Due to a late fixture cancellation at Abbotsley GC last year the Leicestershire & Derbyshire match was transferred by mutual agreement to Cambridge Meridian GC. Although the Club was not an affiliated member of the Society we were made extremely welcome by the staff and the catering was excellent. Club President and a Past Captain Steve Gedney with the owner entered into discussions with the Society to become an official affiliated member. Having met all the criteria required, Cambridge Meridian GC became a member of the society in October 2011. Steve Gedney is now the Liaison Officer and hopefully Past Captains will be joining the society in the near future.
