This year’s venue for the match against Bedfordshire and Norfolk was held at Middleton Hall GC near King’s Lynn.
The sun for once was out all day and with the sun on their backs our team of 16 won the trophy back from Bedfordshire the 2011 winners.
Captain Hugh described the course as “rather bazaar” with18 holes crammed into an area only suitable for a 12-hole golf course.
Every par 4 had a dog leg and the par 5’s were almost egg shaped, however this did not deter our team who recorded a total of 472 points, against Norfolk 447 and Bedfordshire 467.
All of our team played well with special congratulations to John Peckett and David Littlechild who recorded scores of 38 points and Lyn Griffiths with a score of 36 points.
