Shropshire & Herefordshire hosted the triangular Match at Worfield GC.
I cannot praise Worfield GC enough, what a superb course with the greens running at 11.6 on the slip-meter, an absolute delight to put on…….I suggest, if you have time, just look at their website, under the heading “course” they actually publish the slip-meter reading for that day.
I think all of our team suffered with the speed of the greens, as properly none of us had experienced such fast but true greens at our own clubs.
The catering, service and hospitality of Worfield GC was excellence….it’s a long way to drive but a golf course well worth visiting.
The result…….Shropshire & Herefordshire 321 points….Nottinghamshire 294 points…….SCAGC 282 points…….I’ll say no more!!
