Ramsey Golf Club was the venue for this year’s Nicholls Salver and as usual rain was not on the menu due to the fact Ray Smith was playing.
The course was in splendid condition, although some players complained the greens were a “tad slow” others disagreed, especially the winner who scored 38 points.
The after golf dinner, was possibly one of the finest we have had this year and I know all the players would like to thank the catering staff at Ramsey for looking after the SCAGC so well.
The winner with considerable local knowledge was the Captain of Ramsey Golf Club John Harris who scored 38 points….well done John.
