I have sadly received the resignation, due to failing heath, of one of our most respected senior members, Barry Ettling of Saffron Walden GC.
Barry became Captain of Saffron Walden in 1974 and in 1986 he was appointed Captain of SCAGC.
Throughout his 40 years as a member of the Society he was a truly loyal supporter.
