This year is was the turn of Essex to host the annual Herve Trophy match between themselves, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. The match was played at Brentwood GC.
The winners of the contest this year were SCAGC, meaning another trophy for John to engrave and polish.
The winners of the Wooden Spoon were the hosts.
All scores counted in this contest which was won by a mere 9 points form 16 scores with both Essex and Hertfordshire getting 519 whilst SCAGC managed to accumulate 528.
