A very “Happy and Healthy 2025” welcome to all SCAGC members.
This will be the SCAGC 60th season and we have a full list of internal and county events arranged for you.
The dates and venues are now available on our SCAGC Golf website. You now have the opportunity to check your availability for the matches, enter if available, and then you can enjoy our golfing season amongst your fellow Cambridgeshire Captains.
To enter, go to the SCAGC Golf website, select matches, either County or Society, then click the enter button to send your details to the relevant Match Manager. These will then be logged in to compile the lists of our members interest in playing in the relevant matches.
Our Annual Dinner this year will be at the Newmarket Jockey Club on Friday 28th March. We have had a good response from our members and will hopefully be at our upper end of our max of 112. We have secured Mickey Quinn as our after dinner Guest Speaker. He is an ex Newcastle United professional footballer and Newmarket horse trainer, currently residing in Newmarket.
Our first event will be the Liaison Officers meeting at the Cambridgeshire Country Club on Tuesday 8th April. This is the opportunity for our recently appointed Cambridgeshire Captains to acquire an insight into the Society, meet the committee and play a round of golf.
During the Summer months we have 8 Society, 7 Home County and 6 Away County matches, hope you will find some of which you would like to enter. The matches are usually great fun and the opportunity to keep in touch with your fellow SCAGC, who are still active and competitive.
