Yet another sunny day, this time at The Bedford GC for the Cam Trophy. This is the annual match between Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire with 16 players from each society attempting to score as well as possible.
The teams were led off by their respective Captains/President for a two tee start after the customary bacon roll & coffee/beer.
After a very hot round played between lovely green tees and greens and the now normal brown fairways players recovered to the clubhouse for a rolling meal.
The eventual winners of the Cam Trophy were Northamptonshire with 455 points, closely followed by SCAGC on 450 points. Bedfordshire were someway back with 405 points.
