The 2024 Captain’s Day was hosted by John Thompson at St Neots GC.
After the standard breakfast play commenced before the bar opened. 29 players, including some guests, were playing for various competitions.
The Nearest the Pins were won by Roger Tacq (4th), Alan Wood 8th, David Steer (13th) and dubiously Ray Smith (16th)
The Guest prize was won by Brian Sparks from Essex.
The winner of the Liaison Officer’s Trophy was Hugh Carlisle who was also 2nd overall.
The winners of the Handicap division prizes were Nick Gowling and Chas Vincent.
The winner of the Captain’s Day Trophy was David Steer, with Hugh Carlisle 2nd and Mike Wallis 3rd.
