Our hosts this year were Northamptonshire Captains and their chosen venue was Oundle GC, a delightful golf course in undulating countryside with several very difficult par 4 holes.
The catering was excellent and the only bad news about the day was SCAGC came last!
Northants 469 points, Bedfordshire 461 points and Cambridgeshire 454 points, the famous “wooden spoon” now hangs in the Captain Tony’s lounge for the next several months prior to being transferred to Malcolm lounge.
