SCAGC hosted our annual triangular match against Bedfordshire & Northants Captains at Cambridge Meridian GC. It was a “roasting hot day” with very little breeze, not the ideal weather conditions to play golf as there is very little shade on the Cambridge Meridian course.
It was touch and go towards the end of the day with all three counties recoding almost equal scores.
However, the last group in confirmed victory for SCAGC.
Rodney Barnes, who played in the final group, recorded a score of 37 points whilst his playing partners could only manage 23 and 24 points, well played Rod!
Final scores SCAGC 460 points – Bedfordshire 448 points – Northants 439 points
Yet again, a great team performance.
