An excellent entry of 56 players competed for the Tankards Trophies at Saffron Walden GC. The weather was yet again kind to us and the course was in superb condition, the green’s, lightening fast and the fairways were a joy to play off, lunch and dinner were as usual excellent. Hampshire Match

The away venue for this year’s Hampshire, IOW & CI fixture was Alresford GC near Winchester. A relatively new golf course built in the early 70’s, but proved to be a good test of golf for both teams. As usual the sun was out all day, the only problem, it did not shine on SCAGC. Continue Reading
